Level 1 - Recommended for babies of 0-3 months
Level 2 - Recommended for babies of 3-6 months
Level 3 - Recommended for babies of 6-9 months

Additional Note:
All bottles come with the slow flow (Level 1) nipple. The above ages are recommendations but you do not have to switch up to the level 2 or 3 nipples until baby is ready. Some babies will stay at level 2 until they are ready for a sippy cup.

Note for breastfeeding moms:
Slow flow nipples may be easier while breastfeeding because it is closer to the flow they receive at the breast. Holding the bottle more horizontal (with nipple full of milk) also can help .Some babies can start to prefer the faster flow and get frustrated when at the breast because they learn to expect the food to come more quickly.
